Happy Monday Everyone! It’s a gloomy day here in Toronto, but I can’t complain because we received plenty sun and warmth on Saturday and Sunday. I wore this black & white outfit to dinner at Jacob’s Steakhouse, featuring a new crop top that I purchased from ASOS over a year ago and this new cute neoprene circle skirt from the Hudson’s Bay sale last week! Even though the outfit lacked colour, the different textures of the pieces made it look glam and chic. It was Terrance’s 26th birthday on Saturday so we spent the weekend celebrating with an overage of meat and carb heavy foods, delightful cakes and lots of candles for him to blow out. What I learned from living together is that it’s very difficult to surprise someone with presents and morning breakfast in bed without them knowing. It’s even difficult to find the time to write a card! I had to wait for him to step out to the gym just so I can sneak in a half hour to fill out his birthday card.
Next weekend, we will be celebrating our 6 years together so June is quite a meaningful month to us! We won’t be in NYC this year for our anniversary, but we will be in the city which will be sweet.
