In our whimsical, light-rose coloured midi skirts, Wendy and I stepped into the most beautiful cafe nestled in the heart of Leslieville - Bobbette & Belle. The rustic interior was furnished with wooden tables, gold-rimmed wall frames and vintage centerpieces which made it the perfect setting for the photos and video snippets we wanted to capture in our outfits. Of course, we wouldn't have been able to project this romantic-esque look without the help of our talented photographer and videographer, Dallas Kwok. It was an afternoon well-spent with great company and delectable sweet treats in a neighbourhood I adore. I grew up in this neighbourhood and spent most of my childhood bicycling along these streets so it was definitely a little bittersweet to be back here again. The neighbourhood has evolved so most over the last 10 years, but there are still some mom and pop shops that are still here, such as the B&B fish and chips place and corner convenience store, both of which I loved visiting as a little girl. I'm hoping to come back here to explore the quaint area before the summer ends!
