Although I've travelled to New York City about a handful of times (some people will say that this is more than enough), there is always something new to see in this city. This time around, my trip down to NYC was to celebrate my five year anniversary with Terrance and to simply get away from the everyday. We had the opportunity to explore Central Park, the shopping districts and ethnic parts of the city, such as Koreatown, Chinatown and Little Italy. Even though the streets were often crowded, especially around Times Square, there was something so calming about walking around in the lit up city in the middle of the night.
Before we left the city, Terrance managed to capture a few shots of my outfit at the General Motors building directly across from Central Park. Fitting in somewhere between the mini and the maxi, this twisted max skirt was the perfect transitional day-to-night piece. The relaxed fit makes it very versatile and comfortable for hours of walking in the city.
