The city winks a sleepless eye

F21 long sleeve, Zara trousers and belt, Jeffrey Campbell flats, purse (gift from friend), H&M printed scarf

Lately, the brutal weather seems to be inescapable. The trickles of rain (if not pouring) and ample sunlight has been exhausting to witness. Story would be different if I were to sit at home, bundled in layers of clothing, along with a hot cup of tea in hand. I wouldn’t mind watching the rain so much then. But, the morning usually calls for me to get myself ready for the lonely 8AM walk to school in the freezing cold weather. Fall, you’re just not a good friend of mine.

At least Thanksgiving is coming ahead. I still haven’t figured out what I will be doing for the entire weekend but as far as I know, I’m going to make the best out of the next (and probably last) few warm, sunny days. Here’s an outfit I plan to wear this weekend. I managed to catch a glimpse of sunlight in the late afternoon so I decided to take a few photographs. Unfortunately, with the cold weather ahead and the fact that I’m living away from home for school, you won’t be seeing any outdoor outfit posts.

I’m pretty excited for my friend’s birthday this Saturday. I can’t begin to explain how fun it sounds already, only from reading the descriptions. We’re dining at a restaurant called Insomnia and afterwards, we will be heading to a little café called Snakes and Lattes. I’m more curious about the latter than the former (Don’t get me wrong. I love food, but this is better). It’s a small board game café on Bloor St., which serves lattes, coffee, and all those sweet treats as well as offering 1500+ board games just for a $5 entrance fee. Tempting? Anyways, look forward to photos.

  1. Cute and casual! Definitely what you're best at Aney. The board game shop sounds like a blast and a half! My bf and I would totally be down for that. If we're ever in Toronto, maybe you and your guy can bring us after shooting some outfit photos together? :P

Hope you're having a great week girl!

  2. Cute outfit. Love the look of that scarf. And that Snakes and Lattes place sounds fantastic! There's a bar in my town where they have a stack of boardgames - but it's a notorious student hangout, so $2 Taco Tuesday mixed in with some $4 margaritas makes for one messy game of Operation haha.

  5. I love boardgames. Guilty confession. Not really. Bananagrams is my jam. Just throwin' that out there. ANYWAY ONTO FASHION. You look absolutely stunning, I'm loving how the scarf adds that extra punch of colour without completely washing out all the other colours! Stunning :)
