Garden party
September 4, 2010
"What sunshine is to flowers, smiles are to humanity. They are but trifles, to be sure but, scattered along life's pathway, the good they do is inconceivable."
Here are a couple of photos from the garden party with the girlies. We filled up on white sangrias, bread with brie and other sorts of cheese, and snacks. The scorching heat and lack of sun tempted us to avoid any photo taking, but of course, we managed to get in at least over a hundred photos of us prancing around under the clouds.
It was sweet to finally sit down to a full out decent conversation between the girls. Talks about the future led us to creating a time capsule to hold our thoughts of what we will be five to ten years from now. Well, not exactly what we will be, but regarding more towards who will be engaged first and who will be the first to have kids. I’m more than grateful for these girls who I have grown up with in the past ten years and who will continue to be present in my life until we grow old. I can just imagine us being old grannies meeting up for high tea. It would have been nice if we were actually able to lock up the written into an antique box and bury it into ground. For now, an envelope will do.
