GUU
April 5, 2010
After hearing about GUU and how amazing this place was, I had to see for myself what was behind all this hype. Over the long weekend, the bf and I decided to head down this little Japanese restaurant at Church St. and Carlton. Waited outside in the cold, alongside with about five other groups of people for about an hour or so. Wish I could describe how amazing the experience was. The atmosphere was breathtaking and the food was beyond delicious! Everyone in the restaurant were so full of life and welcoming (staff and customers). As you enter through the heavy wooden doors, everyone inside would greet you with loud cheers and welcoming words in Japanese. It is amazing how they manage to stay so energetic throughout the entire night while greeting and thanking every group who comes in and leaves. The wait was definitely worthwhile.
