Every kind of silence

February 7, 2010

Zara ruched shoulder shirt/dress, F21 stockings and bangles, black lace shorts, Spring open toe booties

Smoked salmon wrapped asparagus

Warm goat cheese salad

Roasted chicken supreme served with butternut squash, sauteed vegetables

Black forest cake with chocolate shavings

Kentucky bourbon custard, drizzled with caramel sauce and served in meringue

A night spent with friends and him. Wore my Zara ruched shirt (converted into a mini dress) and paired it with a pair of black lace shorts and hose. My first Winterlicious event and it turned out extremely amazing. We lost our reservations at Centro Restaurant & Lounge because we were late and we couldn't find the location .. haha. Luckily, we decided to head uptown to dine at a restaurant called Marlowe and they had Winter Marlowelicious! The food tasted heavenly. I had the smoked salmon wrapped in asparagus, roasted chicken supreme, and bourbon custard. Nonetheless, the few I was with made the experience so worthy. In a sense, I'm glad that it never worked out at Centro considering that the host was being extremely rude over the phone and the menu wasn't amazing at all. Wish I could have attended more Winterlicious locations, but schooling in another city complicates many things. Awaiting for Summerlicious to come along.. Have a lovely night darlings!
