Romantic Escape

As unorganized as it was, a few friends and myself went on a trip to Niagara Falls yesterday. It has become a tradition for me to go to the Falls every year, but this year was different however. It was perfect this year .. taking in that it was my first trip with the boyfriend. Despite that we had only stayed for a day, we managed to fit a whole lot into our hours there - it was a day well spent. Being with the people I love, I just can't ask for more. It was an escape, a getaway.. for all of us. Away from the everyday realm, we cherished our time with one another in a city only a few hours away. Yet, it amazingly felt as if we were further than just a few hours away from where we lived. I wish we had stayed longer, but now we will just have to wait patiently until our next trip to possibly the Falls again or New York City.
